We spent an afternoon and evening touring the Kennedy Space Center as we waited to witness the launch of STS-123, a mission of the space shuttle Endeavour to the International Space Station. The photos at the end of the album are of people waiting for the launch at the Visitor Complex, in the Rocket Garden. In addition to being able to see the launch from a safe distance of about 7 miles (12 km), we could watch it on a jumbo television screen.
